Meet The Team
Catherine Mukes, MA, LPC-S, NCC
" Life can be challenging. We sometimes encounter situations that we hadn't prepared for or have difficulty bouncing back from serious life changing events. Finding a new sense of normalcy can be tough. Whether dealing with loss, addition, or growth we can find ourselves on what seems like the deep end of the pool. I am here to help you develop the insight and skills to not only tread life's waters, but propel through them like a champion athlete.
As a licensed professional counseling with over 15 years of experience in a variety of settings with a range of clientele, I understand the challenges in finding a clinician who really gets you. I understand that life has its ways of provoking imbalances, and self-regulation improves our
functioning. By taking an honest approach, I support your needs and work assertively towards your goals. My main modality is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with an emphasis on mindfulness. However, one Band-Aid does not fit all wounds. In therapy, I will work with you to develop coping skills, build awareness, andunderstand-ing triggers in an attempt to restore life balances. I welcome everyone and strive to work with each client with cultural awareness. I look forward to being a part of your journey towards balance restoration.
